Dr. Connie and I have been wearing ear-to-ear smiles over our good fortune at being able to welcome a pair of highly skilled and deeply compassionate new practitioners as part of our Pacific Naturopathic team. It is with great pleasure that we introduce you to our two new colleagues at Pacific Naturopathic.
Dr. Brian Cox’s primary focus, like Dr. Marcel’s, is adjunctive cancer services. Particularly impressive are Brian’s experiences with ozone therapy. (Watch for an article that will appear shortly.) Of course, Dr. Cox has wide-ranging experience helping patients with many diverse medical conditions.
Dr. Krystal Shelmire brings a host of exciting offerings to our Pacific Naturopathic therapeutic menu, including a rare and much-needed emphasis on holistic approaches to pediatric care. She also has a deep interest in homeopathy. Like all our doctors, Dr. Shelmire has expert knowledge and long experience with naturopathic approaches for treating a broad range of health conditions.
Meet Dr. Brian Cox, ND
Dr. Brian Cox graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. Before training as a naturopathic physician, Dr. Cox concurrently completed a B.S. in Chemistry at the State University of New York (S.U.N.Y.) at Old Westbury, and the Harvard Health Professions Program at Harvard University. He has completed additional certification in the latest IV and Ozone therapies.
Dr. Cox is a gifted educator and speaker – his patients, and all who have had the pleasure of learning from him, have felt blessed by his special gifts and inspired by his high calling.
In his private practice, Dr. Brian provides high-quality individualized care domestically and internationally. Although he treats a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, he has a particular passion for adjunctive cancer care.
Dr. Cox’s approach to healing is well grounded in the ancient wisdom that said, “Let food be thy medicine, and let medicine be thy food,” a saying often attributed to the ancient Greek physician Hippocrates.
