Lymphatic obstruction (congestion) can often result in elevated temperatures on breast thermography.
To alleviate this problem, we recommend manual lymphatic drainage.
Numerous YouTube videos demonstrate this very simple technique.
In lymphedema post-breast cancer surgery, however, manual lymphatic drainage may not be possible. Yet, there may be a workable alternative.
Clinicaltrials.gov posted a study, “Lymphedema Therapy With Sound Wave Lymphatic Drainage.”
While the results haven’t yet been posted, this therapy is representative of the use of sound to enhance lymphatic circulation and reduce inflammation.
