In speaking with conventional physicians, I’m often told that the doctor “doesn’t believe” in breast thermography.
When I question just what it is that they do not believe, the answer generally is that they do not believe breast thermography can diagnose breast cancer.
Indeed, thermography cannot diagnose breast cancer. But then, nor can mammography. The only reliable diagnosis for breast cancer is by breast biopsy.
What thermography can do is compare one breast with the other by taking multiple temperature readings at different points and patterns of vasculature, to see if there are physiological changes in one breast that are not occurring in the other.
These physiologic changes appear before the anatomic changes that can be detected on mammograms, ultrasounds, or MRIs. Thus, they give us an opportunity to reverse those changes before they can gain momentum.
What’s not to believe?
