Energy Medicine and Technology: the Medicine of the Future

An ancient tradition describes how human history follows the evolution of human consciousness, and how it proceeds in orderly cycles of approximately 24,000 years.

(You can read about this tradition in a fascinating, highly readable, and thoroughly documented book, The Yugas – Keys to Understanding Our Hidden Past, Emerging Energy Age and Enlightened Future.)

Dr. Connie Hernandez, ND

According to this ancient tradition, the world turned the corner from an older age of matter-bound awareness, to a new age of energy-awareness around the year 1900, at approximately the time physicist Albert Einstein announced that this solid-seeming world of matter is actually composed of energy.

All of the wonderful devices on which we depend and that enrich our lives today are based on the new awareness of energy. From smartphones to cars, computers, the internet, and our coffee makers and hair dryers – energy is the new reality.

The sages of all religions have unanimously claimed that the energy that circulates through our bodies comes ultimately from a higher, divine source.

That energy flows through subtle meridians carefully documented by acupuncturists. The main “highway” for the divine energy, so the sages tell us, is the subtle energy centers (chakras) in the astral (energetic) spine.

The physical and astral spinal centers connect directly to the endocrine glands, which in turn connect to nerve plexi and control many of the body’s physiologic processes.

Thus energy, quite literally, patterns our physical existence.

Correspondingly, energy blockages, excesses, deficiencies, and disharmonies can disrupt our mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

In this new age of energy, which is known in the ancient scriptures as “Dwapara Yuga,” we have begun to understand and acknowledge that the ultimate cause of disease is aberrant energy patterns.

New, energy-based medical technologies are now allowing us to measure the vibratory frequencies of micro-organisms, cells, and organs, and to employ light, sound, and electromagnetic energy to effect healing.

  • Royal Rife was an innovator in the field of high-magnification time-lapse cine-micrography in the 1930s. He is also famous for devising a radio-wave generator that he felt could be helpful in the treatment of disease. Always controversial, the RIFE machines are still claimed by many to be useful in the adjunctive treatment of cancer and other diseases.
  • Another energy-based experimental treatment approach is MORA Therapy, developed in Germany in the 1970s, based on principles of bio-resonance that operate by affecting electromagnetic currents in the body.
  • Japanese doctor Hiroshi Motoyama developed the AIM (Apparatus for Meridian Identification) to monitor the flow of energy in the body’s meridians and spinal chakras, and how these energy movements affect the functioning of corresponding organs and systems.
  • Numerous other energy-based devices have been developed, particularly in Europe where the concept of energy medicine has flourished since the late 20th
  • In our clinic, we have experimented with various German inventions, such as the QX machine.  When the U.S. government prohibited the use of QX for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes, we dropped our work because of the legal risks and the fact that our QX model had become outdated. The RIFE machine and the older QX’s are the “Model T’s” of energy medicine.

In today’s new era of energy medicine, technology will doubtless provide us with updated energy-age Teslas that will enable us to strengthen and balance physical systems using resonant energy frequencies that will harmonize disharmonious frequencies.

  • Dr. Marcel and I now have a Tesla Ring that utilizes pulsed electromagnetic frequencies (PEMF) to decrease inflammation. A variety of PEMF machines, mats, and other systems and devices promise to reduce pain and balance the nervous system. PEMF has recently entered the realm of cancer care, as new research has demonstrated the antineoplastic and antiangiogenic potential of this non-invasive therapy.
  • A major biomedical technology that we find interesting is transcranial photobiomodulation (PBM), which we discussed in a previous article.
  • We are intrigued by the Weber helmet, which we have in our possession, as well as more-affordable Vielight devices that use near-infrared wavelengths at various pulse rates to enhance focus, concentration, relaxation, and meditation, and that, so their makers claim, can help stave-off neurological degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s.
  • For personal use, the energy age has given us wearable devices such as Fitbit, Apple Watch, and OURA Ring that allow us to monitor our personal biometrics.

(My personal choice, for its accuracy and wearability, is the OURA ring.)

  • Teslar watches are designed to combat electromagnetic pollution.
  • Devices such as the WholeTones player use musical compositions that incorporate Solfeggio frequencies to bring the brain into a restful state that promotes sleep.

These energy-based gadgets provide us with alternatives to help address the underlying cause of disease.

Still, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention my personal belief that energy healing does not ultimately require medical technology, since all healing occurs by attuning ourselves vibrationally to a higher, universal source that holds the entire cosmos in manifestation – and that this attunement can happen through meditation, devotion, prayer, chanting, affirmation, and service.

Of course, if it were easy to attune ourselves to that ultimate source of all healing, we would have no need of physical devices to access its lower frequencies. Still, all true scriptures tell us that that Source wants to help us, that it will respond to our call, and that if we are receptive, it will guide us to the media of healing that will best meet our need.
